Yellow Cedar Cutting Board - Aged Cedar

Get the gift of a beautiful, natural, and forgiving cutting board! 

A cutting board made from naturally Aged (40 years) Yellow Cedar - it is mold and water resistant much like the red cedar but it's more durable! Yellow cedar is considered a soft wood which means it's great at prolonging your knife's edge compared to the hardwood cutting boards. It can be compared to the Japanese Hinoki which are known to have a soft surface but a smooth texture and scent.

Each cutting board comes with the matching yellow cedar stand. 

The cutting boards are finished with natural food safe oil and beeswax. Do not soak the boards in water. Use warm water to clean and wipe away excess, leave board in vertical position while drying. Do NOT use a dishwasher or hard detergent to clean as it will remove the finish. Apply butcher block or mineral oil to board once in a while to condition the board.
