Kitchen Dough & Vegetable Scraper - Made from Arbutus

Wooden scraper handcrafted from a single piece of solid Arbutus wood*. This is a wedge style scraper which makes it more comfortable to hold while in use, especially for those with larger hands. A great gift for the baker or chef in your life, including yourself! 

The Scraper is approximately 4 1/2" long x 4 3/4" wide x 3/4" thick at the thickest end. 

We strive to keep our products as natural as possible, all of our products including the Kitchen Scraper are made from natural solid wood, finished with food-safe oil and beeswax from a local beekeeper on Vancouver Island.

*Arbutus trees are endemic to Vancouver Island and the South Coast of BC, the Arbutus lumber we use are locally sourced and air dried for over 8 years. 
**Please do not soak the Scraper in water and avoid cleaning with aggressive abrasives, soap, and the dishwasher - wood is a natural material that may swell and warp after prolonged exposure to water. The best way to clean the Scraper is to rinse and wipe dry with a cloth or paper towel, then air dry on a dish rack. Apply a small amount of mineral or butcher block oil once in a while to revitalize the wood, as you would with a wooden cutting board.
